Gerald Cassidy collection, 1922-1949.

Summary: Collection consists of 10 postcards of paintings by Cassidy published by Fred Harvey for the 1922 Santa Fe Fiesta, and photocopies of four letters concerning the return of Cassidy's "Coronado Murals" to New Mexico in 1948. The postcards depict various New Mexican people. The letters are by John J. Harden, who donated the Coronado Murals to New Mexico; U.S. Senator Dennis Chavez of New Mexico; Paul Jones, a friend of Cassidy and his wife Ina Sizer Cassidy; and the committee in charge of receiving and refurbishing the Coronado Murals in New Mexico. Also within the collection are photocopies of photographs of the Coronado Murals, which are now displayed at the U.S. Post Office in Santa Fe.
